TWIN FALLS – Tony H. Castillo, 78, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026, at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center, in Twin Falls.

Tony was born May 2, 1948, to Felix and Juana Castillo in Slaton, Texas. Tony worked at Or-Ida foods for over 18 years as a mechanic in Burley. After he retired, he enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing, hunting, camping, and classic cars. He had a great love for sports, especially the Las Vegas Raiders. Tony had a great sense of humor and had nicknames for everyone. When he was not outside in his garage tinkering, you could find him with his grandchildren laughing. Tony was a man of few words, but taught his daughters to be strong, humble, and helpful people.

Tony is survived by his wife of 52 years Nelida; his daughters, Irene, Khristina, and Olivia, alongside his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, at St. Therese the Little Flower Catholic Church, located at 1601 Oakley Avenue, in Burley. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Burley.

Family and friends will be received from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, September 14, at Payne Mortuary, located at 321 East Main Street, in Burley, with a recitation of The Holy Rosary at 6 p.m., and from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, preceding the funeral.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted in the care of Payne Mortuary of Burley.
